Though this year’s WRESTLING did not enjoy a successful season as team, many individuals finished off with very respectable records. Brian Burke breezed through his weight class with an undefeated season as did also cap- tain Sean O’Connell. Wrestlers like Paul McKenna with a 5-2-0 record and Gust Stringos who was 6-1-0 and who won 1st place at 115 lb. weight class in the SENE Tournament helped to spark the team’s spirit. And for the first time in several years the wrestling team actually had some pride in itself, and what it had accomplished together. With only three seniors leaving, the team will return at almost full strength with young talent in such mat-men as Tom Anderson, Kevin O’Connell and Andy Connors and experienced talent in Jeff Long and Bill Elliot.
