I came in with a #5 seed and finished in fifth place in the 220 lb. weight class. Against seeded wrestlers I lost to #1 and beat the #4 and #7 seeds. Weighing in at 197 lbs., wrestling against much larger opponents, up to 220 lbs., I lose to the champion and the third-place finisher. In the end, and wrestled myself into a position to finish fifth, thereby qualifying for Nationals.
